Presentations

The Crisis Center conducts community outreach presentations that are uniquely designed to meet the needs of diverse groups, including sororities, fraternities, churches, elementary, and high schools classes, community service clubs, scouting organizations, and businesses.

Three types of presentations are offered:

Custom Presentations,

School Presentations, and

Rape Response Presentations

Custom Presentations - The Crisis Center will develop presentation tailored to the specific needs of each audience. Possible topics could include:

  • Communication skills used when addressing an individual's personal problems

  • Recognition of suicidal symptoms and proper intervention skills

  • Sexual harassment and prevention

  • Sexual assault and recovery

  • Depression recognition and management

  • Stress recognition and management

School Presentations - The Crisis Center continuously conducts presentation in schools throughout its service area.  Two broad categories of presentations are conducted:
